Identity is often determined by a sense of place. When you visit somewhere, it can be characterised as a place or somewhere of placelessness. Distinctive features make somewhere unique, making it recognisable place with independent businesses. Placelessness is when locations become unrecognisable, mainly due to large chains taking over the highstreets. This zine studies the difference in place and placelessness.
